Hi, I’m Andrew.
I’m a mechanical engineer and hardware product developer. I am available for short-term as well as full product lifecycle opportunities and consultation.
My passion for engineering and design stems from a long-term love of math and science. As a child, nothing fascinated me more than building things or taking them apart, always in pursuit of an overall understanding of the way things work and how the interaction of each piece contributes beautifully to the big picture.
Growing up in small town Montana meant that the outdoors were always around the corner. As a result, I often draw inspiration for my work from nature. While much technological development seems to distance us from the organic, I believe it can be the source of some of our greatest insights.
I have a B.S.M.E. from the University of Portland and an M.S.M.E. from Stanford University, with a focus on design methodology and manufacturing. I am interested in a wide array of technology, and have experience in sustainable tech, consumer products, and medical devices. I have held roles in design, manufacturing, and product management, and understand the complexities of bringing a product to market from a variety of stakeholder lenses.
